Time is limited, I must stab quickly and blindly.
Have you cropped a prop hub at left?
Kamov Ka-22?

SincoTC 6th Apr 2012 13:11

Yes, it's nearly time for bed there I guess!

There is a prop at left, but it's not a Kamov (it's a fixed wing ;))

Noyade 6th Apr 2012 13:12

but it's not a Kamov
But it is a compound helicopter?

SincoTC 6th Apr 2012 13:16

Not a helicopter of any kind! You must have missed my follow-on comment :)

Noyade 6th Apr 2012 13:20

I miss a lot of things in life Trevor.

Turboprop?

SincoTC 6th Apr 2012 13:23

Not a turboprop; it's older than it looks!

Noyade 6th Apr 2012 13:24

Antonov An-32....flat on it's back?

C'mon mate, ya can't say I lack imagination. :)

Edit...

Not a turboprop
Copy that.

Noyade 6th Apr 2012 13:27

Russian!

An-20?

SincoTC 6th Apr 2012 13:28

ya can't say I lack imagination
You're not wrong there mate, but you are with an Antonov whichever way up!!

The engine is made by the same company as the airframe, which must narrow it down a lot :)

Noyade 6th Apr 2012 13:35

Sorry, from where I live everything is upside down. I thought it was the ANT-20.

http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/5401/img550.jpg

I'll let you be now.

Cheers.:ok:

SincoTC 6th Apr 2012 13:37

That's good mate, I see where you're coming from, but I wouldn't do that to you :)

Sleep well :ok:

Karlark 7th Apr 2012 04:54

That nacelle looks Italian.

Fiat CR.20, open house if correct. :)

SincoTC 7th Apr 2012 04:59

Evening Karl :) (Yup, another early start for me :()!

You are correct, well done; it is the Fiat powered Fiat CR.20 :D

Karlark has requested an Open House :ok:

evansb 7th Apr 2012 16:55

PPRuNeUser0139 8th Apr 2012 13:11

Can I quickly butt in with a request for an id of this strange aircraft?

Looks like nothing I've ever seen before but I'm sure one of you hotshots will nail it in minutes!
Many thanks
