British Mel?

MReyn24050 7th Oct 2011 09:19

No it is not British, Graeme.

Spit161 7th Oct 2011 14:35

Early German?

MReyn24050 7th Oct 2011 17:59

It is a German aircraft.

Noyade 8th Oct 2011 06:05

Torn between a fighter and a trainer. Should be a gun-sight close-by if the former? I'm thinking Luftwaffe from 1933 onwards.

I'll try for a trainer not on your list Mel....the Bucker Bu 131 Jungmann?

MReyn24050 8th Oct 2011 08:37

Graeme. This aircraft was neither a fighter nor a trainer and not the
Bucker Bu 131 Jungmann.

evansb 8th Oct 2011 08:48

BFW M.31 ?

MReyn24050 8th Oct 2011 08:50

Noyade 8th Oct 2011 08:53

Sportsplane?

Morning gents.

There appears to be an "Aurora Borealis" in the top of the photo? A lot of metal reflections?

Junkers?

Junkers A50?

Noyade 8th Oct 2011 08:55

Had a few drinks. None of my business, but why "24050" Mel?

MReyn24050 8th Oct 2011 09:05

You have it Graeme. :D:ok:. It is the Junkers A.50

The reflection in the screen are the corrugations.

Had a few drinks. None of my business, but why "24050"
If I told you I would have to shoot you.

You have control.

Noyade 8th Oct 2011 09:15

If I told you I would have to shoot you.
I'm a long way away....you ain't that good a shot. :) But fair enough, I'll leave it alone.

So it was a Junkers? I'm seriously amazed....
Thanks Mel - 24050, but it'll have to be open house.

Cheers.
