Transmeridian Air Cargo

Glancing through my old World Airline Insignia book (great book,BTW) I came across the entry for this airline. The illustration of one of their CL44s shows a large white letter 'K' on the tailfin. Did this have something to do with the Keegan family or am I barking up the wrong tree ?

Thankyou.

Thought so. Putting two and two together with the BAF association. I knew Mike Keegan had a hand in there. Ta.

World Airline Insignia
I've got a copy of that somewhere, first had it in about 1975... still dig it out and leaf through once in a while. Wonderful schemes and marvellous aircraft scattered throughout.

It is a grand little book. We had a copy in our family home in the early to mid 1970s and was one of my favourites. Being local to Leeds Bradford Airport, I always made a beeline for the 'relevant' pages, i.e. those with the Aer Lingus, BIA, Northeast and Dan-Air entries. Everything else was quite exotic until I was old enough to broaden my horizons.

I must get round to buying another copy soon.
