Hardly a lost ghost. The wreck was well known, local helicopter pilots were known to land on a wing to inspect the aircraft, and possible find a souvenir.

What a crappy painful link to view. There's much better stuff including video on the internet. Google "swampghost". I've seen pictures where the guns were still there and most of the cockpit panel intact...
