Mystery aircraft on "Winging It"?

Shown last night programme about the ATA pilots, think it was called:
"Winging It, The Home Front Pilots".

Approx half way through they showed an aircraft - looking very Barracuda like with contra rotating props starting up then it airborne but it had a long canopy system (un-Barracuda like ?).

Am sure this query has been raised here before but frustrating as couldn't identify, any one out there help to identify please.
PH.
