Mobile MD-80 simulator Denmark
Hi.
I have been working on an MD-80 simulator in the last eight years. It's built into a caravan, which has made its mobile since 2011.
The project is non commercial and I offer free simulated flights to the public. In june the simulator almost flown 150 free simulator rides with the public.
My hope is to promote interest in aviation in a fun and exciting way. It's aviation in the broadest sense, from model planes to commercial pilot.
The simulator should provide the most possible realistic experience for the guests, therefore it is important and fun with real and aviation related items, such as brochures, advertisements, manuals, aircraft parts, etc.
Unfortunately, the MD-80 planes is phased out of service over the next years, but this could also give me a better opportunity to obtain items that will be thrown out / scapped, and this could be usefull in my project.
I was lucky to get a some good items from SAS back then when they phased out their MD-80
But it can be difficult to obtain MD-80 related items.
So if some one here know who I should contact to ask about discarded items in the future, then I would be very happy to know. Thanks.
