I wonder what a slightly misjudged Lightning tactical descent at 0.95M would have made of that: I suspect more than a few flexing windows in the hangar!

There is a similar but probably smaller one at the former RAF West Raynham, too.

Desperately sad, to think of what it once was. Look at all those fields surrounding it, half of them are probably set-aside. We should be protecting our airfields not destroying them.
