Latest Lists?
Hello all,
I'm looking for the latest Lists as compiled by MReyn24050 . Those on this PPRuNe page seem to have been taken off air.
Thanks in advance,
Russell

I think those lists were on Mel's own website, which itself now seems to be off the air. However, he's still around posting (today) and may have a definitive answer if you ask him.
I do have an excel spreadsheet of his Aerodrome list as dated Nov 2012, which takes us up to about page 150 of the 270 or so of WAD Mk 3. pm me with your email if you would like me to send it to you as an attachment. His last update appears to be 31/7/13

Hi Russ as Lordflashheart says those lists were on my own own website, which I closed down recently following the demise of the various challenges i.e. What Cockpit etc. I still have the spreadsheet files on Excel if you wish to have copies I can email them to you. PM me if your require them.

Yes, Google image search, and those who cheated with it, were what finished it for me. The principal offender was banned in the end, though I suspect that was for other misbehaviours.
By the way, I'm fairly sure we had Tillamook.

Tillamook it is, TheiC. I flew over it last month.
All the pictures I've ever posted on "Which Aerodrome" have always been my own. Since I don't post them on GE, or use a GPS-enabled camera, so they aren't on GE, I don't see how they could be traced to places on the planet.
Or does Google Images work in a different way?
Russ.

Russell if your "What Aerodrome" images are your own then as you say they can not be identified by Google Images unless there happens to be an existing image similar to yours.

I've sent a PM to MReyn24050 asking for a list of what has been posted so far.
I would be afraid of offending the Regulars Here by posting a picture only for them to say " that was posted back in 1983..do keep up!" or similar.
Russell.

Russell,
Far too much water has passed under far too many bridges to worry about that, and anyhow, the rules were written pre-GIS.
...and it was always a rule that any 'novel view' of a previous challenge subject was allowed.
So, i hope I've helped put some kindling on the bonfire again, and maybe I and others can get it lit.
Let's hope nobody is feeling micturative.
Russell, bring us a challenge, would you?
