Group Captain Kenneth Charney DFC and BAR

Sq/Ldr. Kenneth Langley Charney DFC and bar

RAF Group Captain Kenneth Langley Charney (the Black Knight of Malta) was buried today, with full military honours, in the British Cementery at Buenos Aires City.

In the ceremony there were many Argentine WWII veterans (who fought in the British Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force). All wearing proudly his medals.

Also, many Malvinas war veterans attended the ceremony.

Rest in Peace Black Knight.

Other pictures:

RAF veteran Ronnie Scott and other war veterans.

Lt. Dennis Crisp, other Argentine volunteer who fought in Burma

Carlos Lecour (Navy A4Q), my friend Juanjo Membrana (S2E Tracker) and Sergio Fernandez (commando, who shot down Jeff Glover with a Blowpipe). All retired, Malvinas war veterans.

Pics by Claudio Meunier, the writer who fought for this last will of the Black Knight.
