RAF Ibsley Revival - 3rd June 2012

The old watch tower at Ibsley has been leased from Sembcorp Bournemouth Water with the aim of restoring it as a heritage centre on the edge of the New Forest.

To start off the work of the RAF Ibsley Airfield Heritage Trust a Revival day is being held on 3rd June at Moyles Court School - the original Station Headquarters.

The film 'First of the Few' - the story of the Spitfire - was filmed during 1941 and released in 1942 so this event also commemorates the making of the film.
