Probable WW11 USAF marked twin and single aircraft flying near Machynlleth
Driving between Mac and Newtown yesterday watched low flying piston twin about the size of a Mosquito, closely followed by a piston single, both had USAF stars on wings, both banking steeply to follow valley towards Dolgellau. Anyone know what I saw please?

Harvard and a Beech C-45? Several of each in USAAF/US Navy schemes in the UK.
Beech C-45 G-BKGL was visiting Duxford yesterday, any possible connection between that and your sighting? See the 1 November post here for photos: https://forum.keypublishing.com/show...-(2017)/page37
