First in the Air German aviation pioneer Karl Jatho took off before the Wright brothe

On August 18th 1903, aviation pioneer Karl Jatho took to the skies - four months ahead of Orville Wright. Since the achievement of this German airplane builder was never mentioned in any encyclopedia, his machine, most probably the first successful motorized aircraft in history, was rebulit, using historical blueprints.
