Shape of the hangars and their layout would indicate not UK, but possibly Ireland? Baldonnel maybe?

Sie haben recht! Well done!

Sadly no longer active, but the hangars are still there (as is the runway):


One of the few aerodromes, once theirs, then ours, then theirs again, from which former enemies ended up flying the same aeroplane type - the excellent F-86 Sabre.

That is the one Sabredog. I did have a photograph of some Supermarine Attackers parked on the dispersal at Chilbolton in the colours of the Pakistan Air Force and was going to post that but unfortunately mislaid it.
