Not Czech or Russia, but it is from a former USSR state - that borders Poland

I believe so, although I cannot confirm as there is little information on when it was built - it certainly only flew within the last 5 years.

Good call David Yes, it is the Lithianian Vlado Kensgailos VK-9 which is amazingly, a homebuild! Only the one built, or at least known of, which first flew in 2009. A good video on You tube here:

mmm....I'll give you that one - it's just that I have it listed as something else, the Chauvet.

Thanks David. Not heard of the Chauvet name but as is often the case with light and experimental aircraft, as you say two different names (or sometimes more) for the same machine.
