Now mate, before I start digging up (from where My Missus has hidden it) my Aviation Library (consisting of beaten copies of 1959 and 1960 Observer's Book of Aircraft and nothing else), please pray tell would it be wasted effort to do so.

Ah well - in those years interdictors/attack were all the rage, so I presume that was what it was designed for.

BUT - a low wing set up was very unusual.
