Model collection stolen !
the following dispaly models were stolen from my house around 8th March 2011 should any be offered for sale would appreciate being advised.
- Executive models fiberglass Bristol Britannia blue tail 100 scale.
- Pan Am old colours Boeing Stratocruiser 100 wood model
- BOAC Stratocruiser white tail 100 scale wood display model
- TWA Super Connie G-1049 100 scale wood
- BOAC white tail DC-7C, 96 scale ( plastic FROG model)
all on display stands
also
- Franklin Mint Silver Ghost RR limited edition

Regularly check ebay, and keep doing it. A railway modeller I know found his stuff for sale on there after a house burglary, got his stuff back, and the scrote and an associate convicted. It took a couple of months for them to surface though.
A good tip even though they are 'collectable' is to discretely mark them if you can, and keep a set of pictures of items of the collection seperately to identify them in case of theft. Take piccies of the identifying marks too.
