A Question

I have a quick question re this thread: If and when I am lucky enough and fast enough to get another turn at providing an aerodrome to identify, may I post a painting that contains enough details for it to be positively identified by keen observers, rather than a photo?

I guess its clue time as things have gone quiet. This is its nations international hub, and base to the main national carrier which no longer has any scheduled intercontinental passenger flights.

Too tricky or is the thread taking a rest ? In the interests of soon getting to see Grizzled's painting, one last pointer before disclosure - check out Latin America....................Doug

With the clues and a tour round Latin American capitals I come up with Montevideo!
Open house if correct!

Narssarssuaq

Open house

Point of contest etiquette. The floor isn't yours to give until your answer has been confirmed. (and it's spelled Narsarsuaq)

Play on!

Closest I can get is RAF Middleton St George, but then it could be Castle Donington.
