Duxford Spitfire one wheel landing.

Does anyone remember, a few years back, when a Spitfire doing a display at Duxford, suddenly throttled back and cruised on the far side of the airfield.
The more observant had seen one leg of his undercarriage suddenly drop during the display.
The pilot eventually came in and effected a one wheel landing for as long as possible before the aircraft dropped on to the defective wheel.
It held, to much applause.
