Tracing a Pilot from WW2

Hello all - I am trying to trace a pilot from WW2 with very little information to go on.

What I know:
Name: possibly Thomas Matheson or similar
Pilot in the RCAF
Volunteer Medal (39-45 star?)
Ops Wing
Was in England around the end of 1943
