I've just found a photo of the F3 in a 1996 publication. It first flew in 1995. I'm sure it is the same aircraft but didn't think to look that far back!
My own fault for not reading the clue properly: RR does say produced in 2001....which on subsequent investigation it was although its first flight was in 1995.

Good morning all.
Just to let you know that my inbox is open and I await a posting instruction from WK.
(and it will be a silhouette 3-view)

I'm not really a "go-between".
Walter has computer problems and all I have offered to do is prepare his images and get them on to Photobucket, which for some reason he is unable to do.
Thus I act merely as a proxy poster (and proxy has an r in it).
It is now up to him to answer on Prune, not me.
Having said that, it looks like your image has a different engine.

Hi LM,
Just idling time during my lunch break; I'm pretty sure that Graeme has it, but you're correct that the engine looks different. I found a picture in Flight for December 27th 1957 that matches the 3-view including the prominent aerial cover under the fuselage. The caption said that it was the latest version Tuulu III, proposed for training and communications and that it had been fitted with a Continental O-470. I don't know If Greame's photo shows the II variant, but the same photo is marked as a III on a lot of other sites, however, Wikipedia has the II down for a Siemens-Halske SH-14 Radial.
Oh well, back to work!

Noyade got it. The Tuuli III it is.
The Tuuli II was an entirely different design.
As to LM`s remark on the cowling. The Tuuli III was early in the test programme re-engine (and also received the large dorsal fairing) and maybe this has something to do with changes in the engine cowling lines.
