Now if there is a sudden influx of 330s on transcon - where do those 737s (and more importantly the pilots) go?
Just about everyone is in overtime and many are bouncing of max annual flight hours so I don’t think there’ll be any need to consider reduction in 737 pilot numbers

There is many VA 737 FOs who are waiting for Tiger commands isn’t there?

Correct. There definitely won’t be a surplus of 737 FO’s - It’d be a dream to drop to 65hrs month. The majority of FO’s have no interest in flying 80-85hrs a month like they are at the moment.

Vin rouge, I’ve been here since 2007, nobody has been laid off from flight ops in my time. There were fleet changes, but no one was laid off. Unless you have names.........

Yep that will lead to a return to airport wait arounds as the target is 130 hours duty per
roster. That’s the price you pay for no DTA.

Then again it’s better than waiting around Centrelink.

Some want the overtime some
don’t.
