Perth Airport T1 extensions to have new technology

So the new Pier at Terminal 1 is due to open "later this year" (Wasn't that LAST year?)

Is that a marshaller with a megaphone?

Far too complicated for me, I'll start where I am, thanks!

I'm surprised the PC brigade haven't got that name changed...

(Noise in Guidance System)

You would think they might have proof read their release to avoid a spelling error like that. Not a good look.

Too hard indeed Bloggssan

It might be clearer if the Noise in Guidance was used in conjunction with a Noise Override Guarantee.

Just my 2 bob's worth

Best all

I swear, the barn/hangar came out of nowhere!

Your turn to drive/taxi, errr.

Luckily no serious injury, besides the hangar and jet, but producing thrust on chocks (only, so it seems), close to structures? No wonder it wasn't Chinoese whispering.

Back to topic. Maybe Perth and other major airports in Oz should upgrade their passport reading 'technology' as the self-serve kiosks don't really like latest greatest biometric chip passports issued by certain Euro country. Happened to me in Perth two years ago, last year I 'jumped' the queue knowing it'd NOT work so straight to desk with less desk waiting. This year again but Brisbane. I'd just use another, but then they'd not keep track of me and the visa.

They very well know about it past few years and the volumes of latest passports will only increase.

Maybe they should spend their money on a CAT3B ILS.
