I agree but a big call for Narrabri to make

Build a security equipped terminal and contract security staff in the hope that Jetgo hang around. Big - Big financial risk for the council.
Tamworth not so much, extra staff shifts for MSS to be covered but infrastructure in place.

Precautionary shutdown on a non rev flight due dropping oil quantity. When the engineer opened the cowl it left a bit of a mess on the ground. Crew did exactly what they are trained for. Missed all pre schools & nursing homes, however it did leave a bit of 2380 over northern NSW.
Engineers identified the problem, part replaced. Will depart on schedule at o'dark thirty tomorrow.

REX contract biting in to Skytrans

Skytrans mass redundancies
Yet another 'emergency meeting' yesterday. The Garbo has told everyone that they will start more redundancies next week, building over the next 7 weeks. The aim is to trim down to just 60 staff by December 31, and cut back to 5 planes. The Garbo sits in his office all day, red faced, popping blood pressure pills. He had to spell out the bad news to the Gingerbeers yesterday, naturally 'he who cannot look at other humans' and the school teacher didn't do it. Pathetic. Speaking of which, at recent meetings the school teacher keeps putting Bentley Boy back in his box, putting her hand up to his face during meetings and cutting him off. The wheels have fallen off.

Also around 8 months ago they got rid of the Ginger Ninja, then hired him back on a 6 month contract to work on getting them the TMR contract. Well they didn't get the contract, REX did, and a week later he was working for REX

They have also suggested to some staff that they should consider cashing in their super and putting the money into the business!!! Not good.

Worse still, the Skytrans blimp is for sale on Gumtree;

The word for staff around Brisbane and Cairns is get out while you can, and that is coming from Management.

Was told Vincent was starting to make it work before they folded, but they had no security costs.

Yes the 140's were due a couple months back, three are already painted and have been sitting in SDF for a couple months now awaiting Honeywell to pull their finger out.

Given that the Australian authorities follow worlds best practice and wont even let a you register a jet of this calibre if it does not have ADSB is a winning proposition.

All three machines require ADSB capable RMU's that the manufacturer can not supply..... because no other authority mandates it yet.

QED the delay to Roma.
