The lighter side...

I was party to a cracker this fairly quiet evening....

Inbound on descent (see what I did there?!)- and just before being handed off to approach the en route fella advises we should slow to 230 due to a go-around. I enquire if it was due to weather- said fella says due spacing and hands us off.

Shortly after checking in with approach, the poor bugger was I assume attempting to apologise to his tower colleague, but had some finger trouble. The broadcast as follows:

APP: Sorry (mate), I f#cked that up.

Me: And that!

APP: (With I hope a little chuckle) Apologies for the language.

QFfella: You're human!

Me: Love it!

...and then we all got on with it. Gave us all a laugh - hope it doesn't cost him too much at the bar.
