Why Doesn't QF Intl Compensate for Overbookings

There was an issue in Bangkok yesterday of a Overbooking on the BKK-SYD flight.

QF refused any compensation on a confirmed flight for 2 people who were there early etc.

This was QF screwing up, clearly staff are out of line, anyone know what the usual offer is meant to be ?

Great problems was caused with connecting flights of other carries lost as well.

Indeed, you'd be better off checking with your consumer advocate or similar.

This is a professional pilot network
