GE said in the senate inquiry they only lease aircraft to JQ Asia.
From memory. The names of the companies are the same as the aircraft registrations.
What's the go with Jetconnect. Don't Qantas own those 737 aircraft?

I could only guess at that!
Every single time I think it can't get worse, I realise how naïve I was.
Very informative - thank you.
Jetstar is to airlines what Stratton Oakmont was to investment banking.

Page 5 onwards lists Qantas owned aircraft leasing companies.
Didn't GE state they only lease aircraft to Jetstar Asia?
Thoughts?

Presumably those nine new ones are the ones with the Sharklets? If they do belong to QF why don't they replace the 734's with a more efficient fleet. It has done wonders for Air NZ's profitability on Trans Tasman and domestic.

400's replaced by 800's (unless there's a few still in NZ)
