Qantas - Lack of Consultation

Anger over Broome flight cuts - The West Australian

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, so thought I would post it here.

Without consultation Qantas pulls flights from the East Coast to Broome for May & early June only to re-instate the flights again from June 11th.

I appreciate Qantas has a business to run, but surely if we are going to provide a regular RPT service why pull services at short notice & for such a short period of time?

Meanwhile, whilst on discussions of "The West". Selected flights now carry "cabin auditors" to observe & report back to Head Office on inflight product & service. Let's hope the bulk of observations note the lack of product supplied on those old 767's.

And while your flying the network, be sure not to criticize executive management or the company in general. Just like CSM's where asked to report who were making Industrially Approved & scripted PA's, they have also been asked to report those who are verbally critical of management practices.

MC.
