Bad Day for QF & JQ in Adelaide on Friday

JQ Flights to Perth (JQ974 - reason given failed part spare to come from Sydney or Melbourne - not told if failed part was mechanical or human -airradft still on ground 8 hours later)) & Sydney (reason unknown) Cancelled. A few JQ Perth Passengers able to get on QF587 which then took them on a 3 hour tour of the Nullarbor - returning to Adelaide with purportedly a weather radar issue. Eventually left for Perth again over 6 hours late. Another "fun QF day" for all concerned

As these are anonymous forums the origins of the contributions may be opposite to what may be apparent. In fact the press may use it, or the unscrupulous, or sciolists*, to elicit certain reactions.

*"sciolist"... Noun, archaic. "a person who pretends to be knowledgeable and well informed".
