Future of the Qantas Chief Pilot

Can Captain PW remain "in power", after this fight?
He has shown his loyalty, or complete lack thereof, to his employees (remember, he is the Qantas chief pilot, Jetconnect and Cobham have nothing to do with him) with the letter putting the jobs of Jetconnect and Cobham pilots before his own.

Now with all the BS in the media.

Can he remain a leader?
Will he end up just like the last bloke? Can't even return to the line as he is hated so much.

As these are anonymous forums the origins of the contributions may be opposite to what may be apparent. In fact the press may use it, or the unscrupulous, or sciolists*, to elicit certain reactions.

*"sciolist"... Noun, archaic. "a person who pretends to be knowledgeable and well informed".
