Catering truck jacks Dash 8

Heard from authoritive source that a catering truck bent a Dash8 in Cairns over the weekend. Damage to wing and aileron after the truck driver attempted to drive under the wing. Anyone have more info?

Yep, another 400 parked due to damage as you said. 300 supplied from Sydney to cover for it. Which now leaves Sydney short of a/c to cover the multitude of cancelled Canberra 400 flights which occur every day. At least we're buying lots more 400's so we have spare a/c when the wheels fall off (or the gear doesn't come down).

Sorry to spoil this with some truth, but it was a 300 that was hit.

A catering truck hit the aircraft so how can it be the fault of Sunstate???

An aircraft, (SCE), was sent up to help out. I undertstand that SCE is on both AOC's and is in the group fleet for issues such as this
