Visit to Brisbane ATC

Hey fellow ATC'ers working downunder.

Is there any chance for a visit to Brisbane ATC, enroute center, for a colleague current working with Eurocontrol.

I will be in the Brisbane area during Easter, and have brought all my ID stuff.

I am liking Australia so much on my first visit here, that if the conversion controller program should open up again, I would consider applying, and thought since I will be in the area anyway, I might as well see what I am missing. I can redo the favour if any Aussies comes North to Maastricht.

PM or email: [email protected]

Cheers,

Muldrake

you would have to be nuts to leave euro control for ASA.

Don't worry about mikk, he just didn't enjoy himself.

Unfortunately it's not likely as it's recently been made harder - it's difficult enough when you're actually applying for a course. I work in the Melbourne Centre.

I was tired all the time and miserable. Correct.

But I was only one of many.

Thanks Guys.

Neither nuts, or fed up at Maastricht, but I like to keep my options open, and be prepared in case ASA one day opens up.

Almost came downunder a few years ago, but the deal was canceled at the last moment. The decision to go was made however, and it could be fun to see what I missed out on.

I'll just enjoy the sunshine and delay thinking of work a few days more.

Cheers again,

Muldrake
