European class 3 medical

Hi,

New here!

Can anyone tell me if past medication which you would be disqualified if you were currently taking will cause any problems with passing the medical. i have read the rules and fully understand that it will come down to a medics approval but was just wandering if anyone had a more down to earth answer!! or any past experiences??

Many Thanks!!

Hi.

Not going to ask you (would be rude), but I know that for the class 3 medical which I did sometime ago for ATC requires you to be off the medication for 5 years in some cases, it depends on what the medication was for, and the time varies. I'd give whoever you're hoping will employ you (or the aeromedical guys) to let you know the answer rather than chancing your arm on the day.

Good luck
