EGCC LISTO2R
I've done a search for LISTO2R but found nothing, thus the new thread.
There's a LISTO2R departure off EGCC using westerlies (23L/R) but it's marked on the plate as RESTRICTED AVAILABILITY
Available only to non-jet and the following jet aircraft: all aircraft up to 35000KG MTOW plus BAe 146 (Avro RJ series); Embraer E135, E145; Bombardier CRJ1, CRJ2, CRJ7, CRJ9, BD-700 Global Express; Gulfstream 5.
An A319 with a DOW of 40T, i.e. already over the 35T MTOW, has been allocated a LISTO2R departure but I'm at a loss to see why.
And it's odd because looking at the actual departure profile (courtesy of Flight Radar 24), it's flown a HONiley BUT the flight plan is still showing a LISTO2R.
Confused dot com! Can anyone shed light?
Vielen Danke!

Your profile says you are in Ground Ops. Your location is Manchester and your handle suggests you are a SATCO! I'd have thought you were in an excellent position to answer your questions, or at least pick up the phone to someone who can? GL.

It's not unknown for there to be an aircraft type change to a flight plan and for the larger plane to accidentally fly the LISTO SID when it was meant to have changed to a Honily but the FMS had not been updated. Or in this case flown the legitimate SID when the original flight plan was a LISTO.

As the OP says, the LISTO2R (23R) and LISTO2Y (23L) are restricted to specific weights for jets and unrestricted for props (turbine or piston). The problem sometimes occurs when, following a runway change from easterlies (05L and, very rarely, 05R, deps) where all types fly the same southbound SID (LISTO2S for 05R or LISTO2Z on 05L), to westerlies (23R/23L) the change from a LISTO2S/2Z to a SANBA1R (23R) or SANBA1Y (23L) can either be missed during the runway change or is not picked up by the Electronic Flight Progress system. Hey, c'mon, we're only human. Equally, it is not unknown for a crew to be given the correct SID for an aircraft type, and read it back, but they then fly something different. Also, bear in mind that some airlines fly types which can do the LISTO SID on westerlies, but also fly A319s, which can't. By the way, the HON (Honily) SIDS are history.
