Request and require.

Does "Request runway xx for landing" and
"Require runway xx for landing" have a difference meaning?
(When pilot asks the controller.)

Yes. "Request" is just that. It implies that if unavailable, you could use another runway.

"Require" means you need the runway specified, and it may mean you have to hold until it becomes available.

Yes. Request means you'd prefer that runway but its up to the controller's discretion. Require means you are only able to land on that particular runway and leaves the controller with no choice but to facilitate.

Usually hope someone has a pretty good reason though when they REQUIRE something though, because generally when requests are denied it's because of heavy workload it involves or conflicting traffic

Thank you so much.
What about during cruise.
"Request 10 miles right of track due to weather"
and
"Weather deviation required 10 miles right of track"

"Request 10 miles right of track due to weather"

Turbulence has been reported and you would prefer to give the passengers a smoother ride.

"Weather deviation required 10 miles right of track"

There is a CB close to track and you need to avoid it.

Does it really happen? I recall pilots saying things like "we have a build-up ahead, any chance of 10 degrees left?"

"I have turned left 30 degrees" occasionally happens when the CBs get crowded...

Yoozatooncoonsler?

I do not understand the need for this thread. Just look up 'request' and 'require' in any English (or Scottish...) dictionary and one will find that they are different words with different meanings. End.
