EGGW DCL?

EGGW is listed by ARINC as having ACARS DCL clearances available. Each time I've tried I get no response. I understood that GW had the same EFPS system as LL/KK/SS, so why are they not using DCL?

Surely has to be a way around that issue?

Seems a total waste of good technology on both our parts? We install the capability at both ends of our system then ignore it. How do we get a sensible solution?

Grrr

Change the airspace in the London TMA. A plan was put in place, only following consultation it was quietly dropped, but I understand 'round 2' is being worked on?
