ATC IssuesA place where pilots may enter the 'lions den' that is Air Traffic Control in complete safety and find out the answers to all those obscure topics which you always wanted to know the answer to but were afraid to ask.
@snowdude, yeah i was there on friday. i think you can practise and get better at these things, but it's true that i've always had a knack for spacial awareness games etc, so maybe it's a little bit like you either can or can't do it. i certainly wouldn't wana rule anyone out though, if you work hard i'm sure you can train your mind.
@sambatc, tbh they haven't told me a great deal, and i don't know what you mean by the stage 3 info sheet either. when i got my email today saying i'd passed, i got another one from them but it was completely blank. i'm wondering if that's a technical issue from their end and there's info on there i need to know. i'll give them a call in the next few days to see if they can explain it.
Still find myself waiting on stage 2 result from beginning of September. Can now only assume its not good news as many have taken and been informed since. Would be nice to know nonetheless
Kimmikins, I was Mayor of Tin Town and had the number 1 on my name tag. Congratulations Was so used to hearing the next day that these last 3 days have a felt like a lifetime.
Does anyone knows is there an age limit for applicants? They told me in Nats that no age limit, but how does it looks in practice? Is anyone over 30 ?;(
Can anyone tell me if its a good idea that I use a mouse for the initial online assessment or is a laptop touchpad sufficient? I understand some of the practise games may be involved.
