Question A25

Is there really an actual need for the base of A25 to be "elevated" from 0700-2000Z just North of BCN? It seems to me that whenever we use it before 0700z (Northbound from BCN FL100), everyone thinks we are not in controlled airspace when in fact we are? Are ATC as confused as we are?

Yes we are completely confused, A25 base used to be lower, but the powers that be in airspace policy at CAA HQ decided that nobody was using the airway at lower levels and the GA, Military, Gliding etc community had a greater need of the airspace !!
