Hello all,

I was looking through the 2003 Airline Transport Pilot Test Prep (FAA) and saw some questions that pertain only to RTC? Can anybody help explain what RTC means?

I was told that for the FAA ATPL (aeroplane) I only need to look at sections under FAR 121 and All. Can anybody confirm this?

I know to many of you all it's probably a stupid question, but thanks for helping!

Cheers

Hi,

I have the Comm notes and RTC appears in there. It apparently means Rotor Craft - I think!!

:rolleyes:

RTC = rotorcraft,
AIR = airplane,
GLI = glider,
LTA = lighter than air (balloons),
MIL = military,
ALL = all of the above categories.

BUT... beware the categories are decided, on experience, by the PUBLISHER - so you may find that questions from categories other than those you intend to fly crop up occasionally.

Hi guys,

Sensational!! Thanks for the confirmation. I thought it was Rotorcraft too but wanted to make sure before I skip the whole chapter.

Thanks heaps!
