Given that I have all the correct expirience levels , how do I go about converting my UKATPL into a jaa licence?

Is there a download form available someplace? what are the fees/ and which web site would be the best to glean the correct info to allow the process?

thank you

I converted mine a couple of years ago. I simply walked into FCL at the Belgrano with my licence and logbooks in hand. They gave me a very simple form to fill in, had a look at my logbooks, took a photocopy of my latest LPC and JAA medical and gave me everything else back.

I then paid £168 and walked out 25 minutes later. The service was swift and courteous. The new JAR-FCL licence appeared in the post within a week.

It might take a bit longer if you only barely meet the requirements.

Check the CAA website for the forms and the fees: it's all there.

A very swift service is available at the FCLD counter.
As mentioned there is a small form to complete, they need
at least one valid type rating (LST or LPC) within last 12 months.

The current cost is GBP 185.00, payable there and then.

If you get there early enough, i.e. 8.30 onwards you will be out well within 2 hours, usually quicker.

The main thing is that they need to see all your log books. I sent mine parcel post for about £7.00 and they came back in individual registered envelopes.

No delays with the issue. Excellent service from the CAA
