I've been requested by Maria N to let everyone know that there will be an Air Anglia/BIA, Air UK, klmUK, buzz reunion at the STN BAA Club, from 19.30-00.30 on Sat 25th October 2003. We will be charging £2-3 on the door to pay for the bar staff and disco. All ex staff and their partners of the aforementioned airlines welcome.
See you there, I hope http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/band.gifhttp://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/rock_band.gif

With graphics like that, how could we refuse. Hope to see you there (roster disruption permitting, of course)

Hey, I got 3 out of 5 for the companies. Hope I'm in the U.K. for this.

Now there's a thought. Since BIA and Air Anglia merged to form AirUK (ah, happy days), did anyone actually work for both BIA and Anglia ? I think Herald crews converting to the F27 were already AirUK at that point, as were all the existing Anglia crews. I collect four out of five, just wondering if anyone has a "full house".

Agreed, but you would have worked BIA, Airuk surely, and not ever been a member of Air Anglia. Likewise people like me were Air Anglia, Airuk without ever being part of BIA. Did anyone ever go from BIA to Air Anglia prior to the formation of Airuk ?

Yep, enjoying the odd "short" route to Greece. Last night it was to the Red Sea and back. 11 hrs 30 min total, a long way in a short-haul airliner. Still, can't do too many of those in a month. Free day today, duty hours too high.

Did anybody go to this ? Yep, Nightstop, the northern lights of old Keflavik are still there. In fact, I enjoyed them so much, I'm going for another five nights later this month. Along with a night in Uralsk, a night in Malabo etc. Never a dull moment over here !!
