Hi,
FlyJet will shortly receive there second Boeing 757-23A and will register it, G-FJEB following the first aircraft - G-FJEA. The aircraft previously served with Air 2000 as G-OOOJ and has around 55383 hours.

Does anybody know the delivery date?

Thanks

I think it is already in service, it was registered as G-FJEB on 21st July.

Also, my first post here, although I have looked here for quite a while. :ok:

Thanks

Hi,

These reviews of FlyJet (http://www.carsurvey.org/air/airline_Flyjet.html) don't sound very good. :hmm:

What??? Did you read the first two? I suppose many of the complaints are understandable in a new start up.

Hi,

Yes they are understandable but having no in-flight magazine is a bit poor.

Hi,
That's why I said they where OK. They are new so these kind of glitches are to be expected!

Thanks

Perhaps they are to be expected. But if that is the case then anyone with an ounce of forward planning in their body would have anticipated the problem & negated it.

Performance like that should not be accepted.

cheers ;)

When i flew with MYT last year, there was 2 magazines in my row on a 767. Thats 2 magazines between 8 people. So I would think that to be poorer than having nothing on a start-up...

I cabin drew with fly-jet based at lgw, yes i agree there are areas that need improving, yes a magazine would be good which are being worked on . As for ife this has to be approved first and permission has to be granted by various agencies let alone film distrubuters who can give permission or may refuse we also need to be licenced to show films etc and this cn take a while to come thru. as for the interior being tatty i have to disagree i have been flying for over a decade now and i have in my time flown on other airlines as passenger and seen some sights, also i have worked on a/c that lets just say are far from perfect. As for delays these are inevitable and unfortunately as we are the new kid on the block various agencys that we deal with ,dont give us the same level of service that you would expect also the excells ,and britannias ,of this world have alot more clout but things will get better, and unlike many of the charter airline out there we dont charge for meals and you get a choice!
