Soon to be heard once again after a long rest will be the sound of those huge P&W 4360's Radial Engines turning in unison with those 16 ft props. By way of the BAHF organization the Big Boeing 377(C-97)Stratocruiser sights & sounds will once again be back in the skies. She will be a flying museum exibit of Cold War History when completed.Only 2 such STRATS exist in the WORLD today that are AIRWORTHY! The other STRAT is a firebomber out in WYO. The paint sceme is done & She looks fantastic! The ferry flight will now take place sometime in spring 2001 to the hangar in the NYC area. There the interior work will begin on the displays & showcases & artifacts. The BAHF volunteer workforce & members are dedicated in preserving this part of airline & airlifter Proptransport history.
