Roller Coaster ride at Swiss

Not a day goes by without a reference to or rumour about Swiss in the news.

This week we had

- Lufthansa making a concrete takeover offer (Sonntagszeitung) followed by
- DRS radio making noises about bankruptcy by October,
- all other newspapers quoting Lufthansa managers saying "there is no offer" and
- today on the radio news that the ex-Crossair pilots union has finally agreed that its claims would bankrupt the airline and withdrawing its demands.

One can only imagine the running around at management level - how daily business gets done is a mystery.

Just hardworking staff and brilliant crews who will be hard at it until the end - should it come down to that, which it won't.
