Hi Ashwinrao

UK FRTO is valid for India. If you do it in UK it will cost approx :
Written Exams GBP 30
Practical Exams GBP 60
This is at LGU.
License Issue GBP 57

Total GBP 147

May I recommend Mr David Horton of LGU for an excellent, educative and straight forward approach.

If you wish to do the same license in India then contact Carver Aviation, Baramati. I think they charge Rs 25000/-

Hope this helps.

thanx :)
now LGU??
sorry I'm in Canada now and that didn't make much sense to me..
would you happen to have either a contact number for them?
and how long that might take?
I've heard its a lot easier to get the thing done in the UK and then go to India and that the canadian Radio license isn't valid in India..
