There I was chaps, flying to Calais today from an airfield somewhere in the south of England, when I experienced one of those " moments".
A fleeting feeling of intense happiness, a feeling of incredible satisfaction that after all these years of flying one can still produce a "silly grin" in this sport/hobby/profession of ours.
It makes all the training and all the money spent worthwhile.
Whatever anyone may say, we are lucky, we are priveledged and, maybe we are all just a little bit special as well.
Certainly, my passenger who had never flown before thought so as he rotated the aircraft off the runway.
Heres to an excellent summer for all of us....!!!
