I am just interested to know what it is like before I decide to invest.

Jinkster,

IMHO Oxford's met CD Rom is excellent. It contains lots of graphics & animated sequences which help to explain a broad and tricky subject.

It costs just a little more than a CAA exam resit, and added to the fact that there is flight briefing stuff on there which can be used after you've seen off the exam itself, makes it pretty good value for money.

If you are like me and sometimes struggle with large amounts of text trying to explain a concept, then I would say go for it!

All the best, whatever you decide.

Very expensive but it may be worth the investment.

best ivestment made on this crappy course. You wont be sorry. I only wish they had all subjects on CD Rom like this. Hint hint to anyone wanting to make some serious money. ( 10% royalties to me though)

In answer to davidils's point, they do produce other cd-roms. In addition to the met, there is also one on the CRP-5, and also 2 on communications.

(Just to declare my interest, I should point out that I work for OAT).
