Lots of comments on Air-Scotland /Electra Airlines - now the truth.

Air-Scotland.com is a fledgling airline which has to ride piggy-back on another operator until AOC applied for later this year or maybe early next year. Chose Electra Airlines initially but badly let down in terms of engineering cover and operational back-up. Arrangement terminated. New airline now in frame (confidential for now) so that Air-Scotland.com can move on. This embryonic airline has the use of 2 Boeing 757s and possibly a third. Has full quota of cabin crew and a core of Air-Scotland pilots.

Looking for Scottish-based captains and copilots with B757 ratings.

Article in Scotsman Newspaper about Air-Scotland being investigated by CAA is complete nonsense.

You say the new airline is confidential for now. Isn't it Air Holland? Or are they just operating the flights as a stop gap until a new contract is signed with someone else??

Anyway, good luck to them, at least they've roves they are serious and dedicated to providing good service (the sacking of Electra proves that).:ok:
