GTA flight school thoughts

I've been doing reseach on flight schools in the GTA and wonder if anyone is familiar with Airline Training International's professional pilot program (ie. completed the course recently or know someone who has)

Why is the cost so high (~55K) and is it in your opinion worth it. And what's with their guarentee of your first flight job?

I've heard mixed reviews on Brampton and some good things about Markham.

i thought about attending ATA back in '00 but chose not too due to the extremely high cost. I had my private licence already, and they wanted to charge me around $43K for commercial multi/ifr. no one guarantees you a job, don't be fooled. Brampton has the 1 year course, where the top 3 students get offered a flight instructor job if they have their ticket. mind you, they hire from outside the program, ex-brampton flight club students, people that work the ramp, so you don't have to pay the extra 10K to get the instructor position.
