I would like to take my initial IR on something a bit bigger than a Seneca or BE76. Something like a Kingair or even a small bizjet. Has anybody got any contacts or ideas within the UK?

Before you ask! No I'm not mad.

Interesting thought!

Don't know if you can do an initial on a multi-pilot rated a/c since you have to have an MCC cert before taking the course, and you can't get an MCC without having an intial IR..
But you may be able to do it on a single crew rated citation or king Air, although you may not be allowed near them without say 250hrs multi first, and the cost... well say 1200/1500hr for say 20hrs at least.. Big bucks..
Whats' your multi experience levels?

I used to fly with a chap called Kevin Lynch at Birmingham Aerocenter who was a Citation IRE/TRE, but also was rotary man,so he would know what training level you might need.
He may be able to give you some sound advice.
