Aer Arann Express, Ireland's premier regional airline, today announced the introduction of a direct daily service between Waterford and London Luton Airport, which it predicts will carry over 24,000 passengers this year. With fares from EUR129 return including taxes, the once daily service will commence on 9th June 2003 and will be operated by a 48 seater ATR42 aircraft.
The flight will depart London Luton at 1240 and arrive in Waterford at 1410. The return flight will depart Waterford at 1440 and arrive in London Luton at 1610.
Aer Arann Express currently operates five routes between the UK and Ireland, as well as providing services to all eight regional Irish airports. The airline is also adding a new 66-seater ATR72 aircraft to its fleet to provide additional capacity on its existing routes.
Commenting on the announcement Jennifer Mooney, Commercial Manager for Aer Arann Express said "We are delighted to be offering a direct service between Waterford and London Luton.
